The Coven Experience

Welcome to our Coven : a place where like minded individuals gather! I am Lauren Marshall and Im happy to be creating magic in Portage, Michigan, Not far from where I grew up.

We are all looking for a place to come and feel truly reconnect with our ourselves and I love to create that environment in the salon. I love helping you feel grounded with a fun, relaxed environment and the chance to choose how you would like to relax wether that be with a cup of coffee and some chatting, reading a book, or getting some shut eye.

I have been licensed since 2008 but my love hair hair starts long before that when my mother would take me to the salon with her. My passion for blondes grew with a spark in 2020 when I wanted to learn every single thing I could about making blonde hair brighter while maintaining the health of hair. I continue to specialize in blonde services as well as Vivid hair. My love for efficiency and consistency allows you to trust in me for your service while respecting your time to have you back to enjoying your life outside the salon in a reasonable amount of time.

While many stylist can provide blonde hair to just anyone, I take great care to ensure our members have healthy hair along the way. I take your long term hair goals into mind to help you reach your dream hair and help you enjoy every step of the process.

I am a wife and a mother, and in my spare time I love hearing 90’s bands and pop punk music live. You an catch me seeing Jimmy Eat World and Mayday Parade whenever they come close to Michigan. I love Taylor Swift and reading spicy book series like A Court of Thorns and Roses and Fourth Wing.

Mondays and Fridays you will find me Coaching other stylists with Thriving Stylist Society. A Company working to help stylists build business that they can truly thrive in.
